PAWS Director Robin Vincent and PAWS Supporter Sue Woodford were invited to Sayre Middle School on May 5th to accept a significant monetary donation in honor of our shelter. Sayre 6th, 7th and 8th grade students annually participate in a school fundraiser to support a particular humane society. They call it H.S.E.—Humane Society Extravaganza. In 2015 they chose to direct their extraordinary efforts toward the Paris Animal Welfare Society.
Robin and Sue gratefully accepted their kind gift and took along a sweet, energetic PAWS puppy named Miss Pickles to thank the students in person. Miss Pickles delighted all and reveled in all the attention! She has since been adopted by her Winchester foster family. Certainly a happy ending for all, and Bravo to Sayre Middle School for their “not so random act of kindness!”
