P.A.W.S. Offers Community Education Program

The Paris Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.) is partnering with the Bourbon County Library to present a series of FREE monthly seminars on pet ownership.  The series, entitled “Pets 101,” is designed to educate adults and children alike on the proper care of family pets and to instill a loving respect for all animals. The presentations will focus on responsible pet ownership, animal training, bite prevention, pet overpopulation, the necessity of spay/neutering, and animal abuse awareness.

January’s presentation will take place on Tuesday, Jan 29th from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the library.  The subject is New Pet Seminar: Bringing home a new pet is an exciting time! Join us for this informative presentation to learn what you can expect from your new pet, the best methods for training and socializing, diet information, proper veterinary care, and more. This is a people class – as much as we love them, please leave your animals at home.

Hope to see you there!
